Selling your house? Remember that LITTLE THINGS ARE BIG!!
It is the little things that can make a difference to prospective buyers. It pays to pay close attention to detail when you prepare your home to sell. Walk through your home with a careful eye. Fix any loose door knobs, screens, loose grout around showers and tub. A fresh coat of paint and clean windows do wonders. Clean out your closets. Arrange the furniture to make a room seem larger. If the room looks cluttered, store your extra furniture. Make sure your rooms are bright, increase the wattage of lightbulbs and/or add light fixtures.

I want to share a secret with you. Wilton, Connecticut is home to Weir Farm. Weir Farm National Historic Site, the only National Park Service site dedicated to American painting, was home to three generations of artists including Julian Alden Weir, a leading figure in American art and the development of American Impressionism. Today, the 60-acre farm, which includes the Weir House, Weir and Young Studios, barns, gardens, and Weir Pond, is one of the nation’s finest remaining landscapes of American art.
